Cookie Policy
What cookies are used on this site, what the embedded third-party content does, and how you can manage all of it from your browser.
This policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Mai Virtual Office website. Our aim is to describe exactly what happens on the site: it uses no infrastructure designed to recognise you or build a profile of you.
What a Cookie Is
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website. Sites use cookies to keep a session alive, remember preferences or measure visitor behaviour. A cookie does not identify you on its own, but it may become personal data when combined with other information.
Cookies Used on This Site
The Mai Virtual Office website sets no cookies of its own. There is no membership, basket or session-based feature on the site, so no mandatory session cookie is needed.
The site uses no advertising cookies, no social media trackers and no analytics infrastructure measuring visitor behaviour. Your visit is not tracked for cross-site profiling.
Third-Party Content
Our home page and contact page embed a Google Maps view showing the location of our office. When the map loads, your browser connects directly to that provider's servers; technical data such as your IP address is transmitted to the provider, which may use its own cookies or similar technologies.
The map is there to make it easier to find our address. That processing falls under the provider's own policies and is not under our control. If you prefer not to load the map, you can use your browser's third-party content blocking setting, take our address as plain text and get directions from your own map application instead.
The WhatsApp and social media links on the site take you to the relevant platform when clicked; from that point on the platform's own cookie and privacy terms apply.
Server Logs
Independently of cookies, the server running the site keeps technical logs of every visit. These may contain data such as the IP address, request time, requested address and browser information. The logs are kept for the security and technical continuity of the site, not for advertising or profiling.
When you submit the contact form, the IP address of your connection and the address of the page you sent it from are stored along with the request, so that the record stays traceable and misuse can be prevented.
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can manage cookies from your browser settings at any time. Common options are:
- Blocking all cookies, or only third-party cookies.
- Deleting stored cookies and site data.
- Using a private or incognito browsing window.
- Turning on your browser's tracking prevention settings.
If you use a setting that blocks third-party content, the embedded map may not be displayed; the rest of the site keeps working normally.

This policy is updated whenever a new feature or third-party content starts being used on the site. The current version is published on this page, and the date at the top of the page shows the latest update.
